General Information

The event center is approximately 1235 Sq. Ft. including a prep kitchen and 2 bathrooms. It has direct access from Choctaw Avenue and is also accessible from the rear alley.

The event center holds approximately 50-60 people with a buffet and approximately 75 people for a sit-down dinner without a buffet. The patio can also hold approximately 12-15 people.

The patio is included for evening and daytime functions. Seating for dinner can be in the event center, on the patio, or both.

Parking is available along Choctaw Avenue and First Street with a large overflow parking lot located one block west of the event center. The overflow parking lot will also accommodate tour buses.

If your function is large enough to require a tent placed on the street in front of the event center, you are responsible for all costs associated with the tent. Forms will be provided for the street to be closed for your event.

See below for information on deposits, cleaning, damages, and liability but rely on the rental contract as definitive word for terms, fees, and conditions.

What We Provide

We provide the facility cleaned with tables set to your specifications.
We can currently provide 16 48" round tables, 11 6ft. banquet style tables, and 2 5ft. banquet style tables for serving and/or seating purposes as well as 100 comfortable restaurant-style chairs. We also have bistro tables for use on the patio.
We provide a complimentary tasting for you to try our wines and we will help you with your wine selections. You will pre-select any wines that you wish to serve and the quantity of cases you wish to purchase in advance. Any purchased wine that is not served is yours to take home.
We provide all the wine purchased at case price cost (10% discount) to you. You cannot bring any other wine on to the premises. Any other alcohol must be approved in advance.
We provide a prep kitchen for your convenience that may also be used for storage if you do not need the kitchen facilities.
We provide a sound system with speakers in the event center.
We provide an optional private tasting bar that can be staffed at an additional charge.
We provide a Whispering Meadows Staff member on site for handling any questions.
We provide a menu if you choose for us to cater your event.

What you must provide

Any additional items that we cannot provide will have to be rented at your own expense.
No minors can be served alcohol or allowed access to alcohol
Decorations that do not have to be adhered or attached to the structure. If any decorations require attachment you can discuss with a staff member. You are responsible of removal and cleanup of decorations.

Additional Information

Alcohol service must stop at 11pm at the latest.
A deposit of 50% of the rental fee is required to reserve the room. The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to the event. If cancellation is required the deposit is forfeited.
We do not charge a security deposit, however you will be held responsible for any damages incurred during your event. Damages will be assessed and you will be charged accordingly.
You are responsible for an injury that may occur, as well as, any loss incurred by anyone at the event or associated with the event. See the contract for more specific information on liability and responsibility.
The Wine Maker’s Loft and Tasting room are also available for rental.

Murder: Take Two

All of the biggest names in 1940 Hollywood are back tonight to audition for Fiasco Pictures' sure-to-be Box-Office Hit, The Maltese Chicken. With Lamont L'Amour already signed to play leading man, Spam Slade, it's anybody's guess who the leading lady might be. Penelope Purr, wife of Director Otto Ratts, is certain the role is hers, although Otto's niece, Mitzi has her own fans pulling for her. But I think the stars' real concern is newcomer, Kathryn Heartburn. And when movie stars get concerned, anything is liable to happen. Please join us and help judge the auditions for leading lady. At least that way the stars will have somebody else to blame everything on. Of course we're just kidding, surely nothing will go wrong at the audition.

Murder Mystery and Wine Dinner

Featuring Dinner prepared by Whispering Meadows Chef, Darleen Shaw.

Your delectable meal will include a choice of Juicy Steak Medalions or White Wine Marinated Grilled Shrimp aside Darleens famous Baked Potato Salad and Grilled Vegetables. Served with a dinner salad and a tradional 1940's dessert. Included with meal will be two glasses of Whispering Meadows Wine.

Wine Down Fridays

Have you been down to the winery on a Friday night lately? If not, your missing out. Every Friday we're staying open till 10pm and featuring live entertainment! Bring your friends and family down for a fun smoke-free evening and as always enjoy the wine! Music starts at 6:30pm. Featured Musician: Joesef Weedena
